This optional add-on set includes the 9 word family mini books from Ready to Read Book 2: At the Pond. Each book is about 3.5" and comes fully assembled (cut, folded, and stapled). They have illustrations for your child to color, a place to check off how many times they have read the book, and their word family to make reading smoother.
You will notice that there are words in color and words that are black. Our mini books are designed to be read together with the student. We aim to make the stories interesting and engaging and make it a less overwhelming feat for our students (think Charlotte Mason, less is more). The black are words they might not know yet that the parent should read while the words in color are ones they should be able to sound out or know from their lessons. They are available as a print add-on only (with your print order).
