Below is a list of different positions at Gather 'Round. We are looking for team members who are passionate about our mission and vision and believe in what we are doing and want to be a part of the purpose - whatever needs arise.
Please note: Different teams may have different hiring processes. All interviews will include a question about Rebecca’s Statement of Faith, which you can read HERE. We recommend reviewing this before applying.
Our most urgent openings are listed first. You can apply for all using the same initial form. If we are not actively hiring, you will not hear back from us—however we will hold onto your resume and be in touch if a position opens up we think would be a good fit. If we are actively looking, there will be a red star next to that position and we will try to follow up as soon as possible if we require more details.
Thanks for taking the time to prayerfully consider and we can't wait to see how God grows our team here at Gather 'Round!
We are actively looking for a local, in-person employee for this position in the region of Athens, GA. This is a near full-time position that requires someone with great attention to detail and a lot of tech/spreadsheet/online tool experience (ideally with tools like Google Sheets, Asana, Slack, etc.). This applicant needs to be able to type 70 wpm+, be forward-thinking to anticipate problems before they happen, be able to multi-task and put together multiple pieces of the puzzle, work from the end backwards, and be flexible and willing to pivot and change quickly. It will involve essentially capturing all information, project details of where individual projects are at, setting up automations and workflows, checking in with 60+ team members, liaising with leadership, keeping 5-6 ongoing projects moving forward, going through emails, being a first point of contact, and then disseminating information and providing visual reports and updates directly to the CEO. It will also involve planning events, possibly traveling to said speaking engagements, and more. This position is hourly and the rate is $20-30/hour starting depending on experience and skill.
Education is not required.
Experience is valued first and foremost.
But heart and skill is valued over all.
If you feel the Lord tugging at your heart, let's talk.
Gather ’Round Homeschool is a growing Christian homeschool publication company seeking a Graphic Designer to help create engaging, high-quality print and digital resources for families and educators.
This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who enjoys collaboration and bringing written content to life through thoughtful layout and design. You will work closely with writers, editors, and the creative team to produce curriculum, devotionals, and family resources.
Adobe InDesign is central to this role, and candidates should already be comfortable working within it.
This is a remote position with flexible hours.
We are currently looking for a number of online teachers. This can be remote or in-person, but does require some good natural lighting, a good camera, good audio equipment, fiber-optic high-speed internet, and a decent backdrop that isn't too distracting. Experience with Gather 'Round materials (specifically the product lines listed below) is a huge benefit.
Teaching degree not required.
Position #1: We are looking for an online teacher for our Ready to Read program, teaching 4-6 year olds how to read through our curriculum. This is live teaching and will require some lesson prep, someone who is engaging and fun, etc. The live class will be at 1pm EST each day and run for about 30 minutes. The right applicant will need to be available for live teaching Monday-Thursday and commit to the full year from 12:30-1:30pm EST daily as well as about an hour of lesson prep daily.
Position #2: We are looking for an online teacher who is comfortable making content engaging for all ages (K-12) to teach full and mini units for our Online Academy this year. It requires finding fun resources, videos, and pictures to go along with lessons, someone who is comfortable with tech and hosting on Vimeo, someone who can prepare the lesson in point-form base, cover all of it, but not read it all verbatim. Someone who is comfortable going off script and can engage a diverse range of students (up to 600 viewers at one time—turning comments on and off, etc.) This class goes live at 10am EST daily from Monday-Thursday and requires someone to commit for the year from 9:30-11:30am daily as well as about 2 more hours with lesson prep each day for a total of 4 hours a day. This position will run all summer long with summer school classes and potentially start this spring with some of our classes now.
We MAY also look for people to mark work and put together report cards. This could either be something that goes along with the position above or a separate position.
Positions #3-9: This position may be unrealistic of me to find this year and I am prepared to wait another year to give us some time . . . but I figured I would throw it out there regardless. I would need 7 (seven) teachers who are available from 1pm-1:30pm EST daily Monday-Thursday each week to teach a level of math live. It would include some teaching, examples and going through the practice page together. In a perfect world, teachers would also grade students work and put together report cards. Together with lesson prep, fun videos, examples, and interacting with students, it would be a 3-5 hour a day commitment for each person. Individuals would need to have the same background, good natural lighting, sound and visual equipment and great fiber high-speed internet requirements of the other online positions. It would begin in early August and be a full year commitment.
For ALL teaching positions, applicants will be required to submit a teaching sample video, showcasing their style, background/lighting/sound, and editing. For Ready to Read, please use the sample materials on the bottom of this page here. For Position 2, use the sample materials at the bottom of this page here. And for positions 3-9, please teach one module from the sample here. Please choose the level you feel you would want to teach. Foundations is about Kindergarten level and Step 6 is grade 8-ish level.
It may help to see an example lesson here (skip to 3:44) to see how our Academy currently operates. We are looking for someone who is making eye contact with the camera even while following notes (sometimes you will be reading but going off-script and expounding enough that it doesn't feel dry or "rote"), engaging, well-spoken, and well-prepared. Please submit a sample with your application for consideration.

We are seeking illustrators who specialize in digital watercolor and line art using Procreate. The ideal candidate possesses a strong artistic eye, excellent creative skills, and a deep understanding of digital techniques that mimic traditional watercolor methods, such as layering, blending, washes, and texture creation. Illustrators should be comfortable switching between clean line art and expressive watercolor illustrations, depending on the needs of each project.
This role involves creating vibrant, engaging, and expressive illustrations for a variety of projects, including educational materials, branding, social media content, and promotional pieces. Subjects may include everyday objects, wildlife, trees and flora, scenes, portraits, animals, maps, and more. Each illustrator brings their own unique strengths and preferences, and we enjoy collaborating to align projects with individual niches whenever possible.
We highly value teamwork and thoughtful feedback. Although our team works remotely, we collaborate closely and intentionally to bring meaningful creative projects to life.
At this time, we are not actively hiring. However, we welcome you to submit your resume and portfolio for future consideration, and we would be happy to keep your information on file as opportunities arise.
If you have a passion for digital watercolor illustration, enjoy collaborative work, and love contributing to meaningful, educational projects, we would be delighted to review your work and connect with you when the timing is right.

While we are not currently hiring writers, we are always accepting applications for future consideration. We have a team of writers that are generally divided into three distinct areas. If you would like to apply, please fill out the application and send us a sample of your writing that would demonstrate your abilities in one of the following categories:
Modular Math: This applicant should have either a mathematics background or a passion for math to help us develop our Modular Math series. Duties may include writing the teaching portion for new concepts and/or the practice and review questions for students ranging from a Kindergarten to a 9th grade level.
Teacher's Guides: We look for qualified writers who can research information and present it in a clear and conversational way, appealing to listeners of all ages—Pre-school all the way to High School.
Student Notebooks: Our Student Notebook writers need a good understanding of the various ages and needs as well as our unique approach—where less is more and we try to get out of the traditional box of "read and write".
These are all part-time positions that require anywhere from 4-6 hours a day (could occasionally be longer), and we do often require Saturday work. Applicants must have the time and dedication to commit to meeting deadlines and working under pressure. They also must have strong writing mechanics and grammar skills, presenting information with good flow and organization.
Please note: the writing submitted will not be used by us in any way and is purely submitted for a sample. You are free to use these same samples yourself for any other use and you own the copyright—translating no rights to us unless we negotiate that during the hiring process.
