South America is one of the last units in our connecting continents series. With a day in the life, stunning art, tons of amazing animals, and 10 different countries to explore, this unit will open your eyes to cultures, languages, and diverse customs around the world.
Our writing project for this unit is to write an article/news report. Students will be learning about reliable sources, how to conduct an interview, editing and newspaper layout, and more. We also included a Spanish feature in our notebooking pages each day for a foreign language component (vetted by a native Spanish speaker).
