Our exclusive, optional add-on Phonics Skill Builders with handwriting, reading, and spelling practice built into it goes along with all the phonics rules and words they are learning through Ready to Read 3: Ice and Snow. 

This newly redesigned version of our popular Ready to Read flashcards provides additional practice throughout the series. Now in a handy booklet style, beginning readers will use multiple approaches to spelling their weekly words. They still maintain a Charlotte Mason approach and now also include a spot for kinesthetic learners to build their words with small objects. Keeping in line with less is more, instead of line after line of handwriting practice, these practice packs are a simple combination of activities each day. We keep it short and simple with exercises like trace it, write it, circle it, find it, and read it. The trace it section helps build form and ensures students are starting where they should. The write it gives just one place for them to do their very best. The circle it and find it sections help to boost word recognition and reading fluency. Finally, the read it section has a simple sentence they can read. Each page has coloring (check out all of the gorgeous new custom illustrations!), helps to reinforce spelling and phonics, and is a great boost for building your reader’s confidence! The new booklet style is perfect for extra practice without taking up much room. Each week has four daily pages, as well as a review  to show off their new reading skills! Every page correlates with what they are doing in their student workbook.
