Lesson 2: Bake a Valentine
Sugar Cookies
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- heart or other cookie cutters
Royal Icing
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3-4 Tbsp. milk or cream
- gel icing colors of your choice
- piping bags or plastic sealable bags
