HOme Medicine
Coming August 24!

Covers from home medicine

Our journey through Home Medicine invites students into the everyday world of health, healing, and the remarkable ways God designed the human body to care for itself. Throughout the unit, students explore fevers, hydration, digestion, sprains, colds, stomachaches, and more while learning what is happening inside their bodies during common illnesses and injuries. They will take a closer look at the science of germs, immunity, rest, and nutrition and discover how each plays a role in keeping the body healthy. Along the way, students practice gentle first-aid basics, mix simple herbal teas, learn to read thermometers, and build a small collection of home remedies. Daily wellness logs encourage them to track hydration, sleep, movement, and overall health, helping them notice patterns and make wise choices. Student Book activities include symptom recognition, digestion models, hydration experiments, scenario-based decision making, and hands-on projects designed to build confidence and practical skills.
