Never has it felt more timely to teach our kids about the true meaning of what we believe and what salvation truly means. Our Easter mini unit is all about Jesus. It is not just about His death and resurrection, but about the gospel story and how the Bible works together as a whole from Adam and Eve all the way to the ascension! There is something for literally everyone in this unit, with space in the Teacher's Guide for mom or dad to write their responses as well. Your family will be learning about the story of the gospel, what worship is, the Lord's prayer and how to pray, the power of forgiveness, God's resurrection power in our lives and hearts, and more. You will have communion as a family, do a powerful object lesson to illustrate how God is so much bigger than our expectations, and participate in a foot washing! You will talk about prophecies and how those are fulfilled and understand the story of the cross in a whole new way!
While most of the pages in this unit are filled with meaning and focused on Bible, there are some really fun activities in here as well including painting Easter eggs, making a resurrection garden, baking resurrection rolls, and more. This month is going to be rich
Easter is 10 lessons long with an optional 11th lesson to help you plan and have your own seder meal together. Students from Pre-reader to Early Elementary have 3 pages per day (1 coloring page and 2 others) while older students have 2 pages per day.
