This listing includes the digital, PDF files for our mini-unit: US History 1. It is the first of a series of at least 3 mini units that will move chronologically through time to teach United States History from a Christian worldview. Our first unit goes from the beginnings to the French and Indian War.
Our mini units are 20 lessons long and designed to go along with and/or supplement our main units. They are not as in-depth or as large as our main units, with only 2 pages in each student book per lesson instead of 5. Our mini units are designed to be more targeted and focused rather than broad and far-reaching.
This unit touches on sensitive topics such as Christopher Columbus, slavery, Thanksgiving, and Indigenous Americans. We have spent countless hours researching and trying to present this information in a way that is empathetic and allows you as the parent to decide the approach you want to take. Due to the sensitive nature of this unit, I have included many more sample readings in the pictures so please be sure to scroll through those and read them carefully before you purchase.
