Try out our Alberta mini unit with this ONE DAY SAMPLE!
Welcome to our adventure through Alberta! In ten lessons, we'll dive into the province's fascinating history, stunning landscapes, unique flora and fauna, must-visit locations, key industries, thriving economy, and the remarkable individuals who have shaped Alberta's identity.
Since this is a mini unit, the Student Books will feature just two pages per day. In this sample, students will be creating a timeline of Alberta's history and selecting a project such as a tourist brochure, welcome centre sign, or website highlighting the province's attractions and history. Throughout the unit, daily prompts will guide students in adding information from the lessons to their projects.
As you journey through Wild Rose Country, may you develop a deeper appreciation for its past, present, and future!
